Running rich all of a sudden

Daily driver scoot caught a electrical gremlin sat for three days till got her fixed.. Started her up she runs fine at 1/4 throttle over that she runs rich can't gain rpms an power just sputtering an bogging.
What can cause this when she was running fine b4 she lost spark an sat for 3 days ???

1. Possible ground issue, check rectifier, and ground points
2. Is it possible you sprang an air leak, can you watch temps and confirm if your going cooler or hotter when it wont rev up.
3(way more reasonable). What all did you take apart when fixing the eltrical problem? Did you reset the throttle slide in the carb? Something along the lines of that.


To be honest it sounds like a ground issue or air leak.

Mr. Jumps is on it, and ill add one more... check the exhaust for insect nest in the end of the pipe. Happened to me once, they may a mud plug in the pipe and it runs super rich. If you were doing electrical the ground problem idea could be a winner, had that issue and my af18 motor felt like it was super rich and wouldn't rev up. hit a bump it reved up and I knew I had found the issue.
