Best Perfomance mods for stock setup

I have a 94 elite SA50. I drive it daily to the gym and grocery store. I put the polini variator in and belt and am about 38-41 MPH. Id like to mod it but I dont want to sacrifice the reliability of the bike. What would be the best way to go?

I have a keli variator with 9:1 gears and im doing 45mph. How much faster you trying to go?

45 would be nice did the gears kill yoru low end acceleration? Which ones did you buy?

It did lose the snappy acceleration but its not horrible by no means. I got mine from chopchop on ebay. Its an easy 45mph. Just need to press 1 gear on the shaft and put the other one in by hand. super easy. Comes with the gasket too. mine doesnt leak a drop of gear oil !

thanks, I already lost some acceleration when i put the variator in. Im going to have to think about it. Right now I can go about 43 if I tuck down real low.

Can you post a link for these gears? How slugish will it make my take off?
