Pull the oil pump off and shaft out and get someone to help you stand the scoot up on it's nose. It'll make a bit of mess(you can probably catch some of it in a container)but it'll be the quickest way to dump the excess oil.

You can also just remove the oil pump shaft, flip the pump hold down special nut so that the pump body pulls down hard onto the crankcase, plug up the pump inlet/outlet, fill with premix and you should be good to go!!

Might be an idea to save any initial first start attempts till after dark. If it does indeed fire and run after you've dumped all the excess crankcase oil you'll still have a very impressive smokey haze for a few minutes, probably visible from Jupiter ;)

Anyone have a spare oil pump with good seals that they could sell to me? Might decide to just replace it :thumbwink:

If the oil pump isn't blocked off...does that allow air into the crankcase?

Edit: Just purchased these 1/4" vacuum line caps off of ebay to plug the ends of the oil pump lines.
