Spree hotwire ignition..help

I have an 85 spree..with no key..pulled it out to hot wire it...which wires do I cross make it hot..just want to see if I have spark.. thank you!!!

On ignition, connect RED to BLACK and nothing else.

Wrap the other(s) with tape un-connected.

Undo the RED/BLACK connection when not using the scoot or battery will drain.
I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.

You can also do what I did:
I pulled the ignition cylinder out, removed the 'tumblers', reinstalled the cylinder.

You still need something to turn the 'keyway', like a screwdriver, pocketknife or an old key. Not very secure but better than nothing. I am going to add a kill switch under the seat that needs to be turned on too. None of these prevent the scooter from being picked up and hauled off in a pickup though, that's where the cable lock comes in.
