Elite idles but bogs down after throttle

1994 Honda Elite SR50
I installed Variator, Polini belt, Clutch springs, Polini variator, 9:1 gears, Malossi CDI and ran it for a few weeks with no problems and decided I wanted more power...

So I bought Polini Corsa BBK, Arrow Exhaust, Polini 24mm carb (118m, 45p), Naraku manifold, premixing 32:1 with Red Line and did plenty of heat cycles. Went to do a first ride and every time I give it throttle it revs up slightly and bogs down. IÔÇÖm learning as I go and a complete noob when it comes to carbs.
Video below attached is at full throttle two times.

Edit: I also believe my jets are too big.. might go down to a 108/40. Any suggestions?

Sounds like lean bog... so too lean.

What are you using for an air cleaner?

I have the Polini pod filter, and did a light spray with K&N air filter oil then wringed it out.

It sounds like either the main jet is clogged/blocked, it's a bad jet or you're carburetor is assembled incorrectly....

Figured it out.. Just had to tighten the manifold more and some other random things. I knew it was something stupid I was looking over. Thanks for the help!

Now I get to look forward to the fine tuning!

are your not running rich with the 118 mj in there? I am currently running a similar setup with a 26mm polini carb and running a 118 and think I am rich. when I ran a 24 I was running a 110 mj with great success. you will be right around 110 unless you have an airleak.

I went down to a 108/40 and have only been on one ride since I got it going. I believe IÔÇÖm pretty close but I wonÔÇÖt know until I start doing plug chops. Kinda seems like it jumps up in speed after I hit ~20 so I might have to tinker with it a little.

what clutch springs and contra spring are you running in your clutch and what roller weights

IÔÇÖd have to double check to see which ones I used but IÔÇÖm pretty sure the gunmetal 1k clutch springs, stock contra, 5,6 rollers

your gonna want to change your contra and clutch springs. i would run a yellow contra with that and you need to know what rpm your clutch engages at. I was running yellow springs and a yellow contra and was a pretty solid setup. clutch engages around 6k. if your not engaging the clutch at the right rpm you will not be in your power band . basically you want that clutch to engage right as it enters the powerband. i running an arrow now and am hitting at 6k and it launches and doesnt have any hesitation. that said I also have a zx trans setup. not sure where that gun metal 1k springs engage. do you have a tach and heat temp gauge?

IÔÇÖll goof around with springs later on maybe once I get the BBK properly broken in. IÔÇÖll have to check out aftermarket clutches/contra springs.
I never got a tach or heat temp gauge. I have something that measures temp by pointing at whatever you wanna measure but who knows how accurate that is.

Flying blind without temp & tach. Absolutely vital to have those to tune.

Yeah, I know. I need to get something to monitor all of that soon

The laser heat sensor can't reach inside of the fan shroud where the cylinder head is getting the hottest. Get the cht spark plug ring type sensor and be done with the guessing. Exhaust gas temp sensor is a bit trickier to install and properly decipher.

IÔÇÖll start researching tachs and temp gauges preferably a multi one.
