Hello
I have a Honda SB50P Elite 50E Scooter.
I am having trouble finding the correct replacement carb for this. Every carb out there has the electric plug on the wrong size of the carb despite claiming it to be a correct fit for my model.
I have attached a photo showing the difference. My original carb is on the left and the incorrect replacement on the right.
I really appreciate your help.

Why can’t you repair the original?

Re: Can't find proper carburetor.
Just not familiar enough with working on carbs. Thought a new one was so inexpensive, but it does not match.

Yes
That looks correct.
Wonder why these are different from all the others that are listed for this bike? Could not find one anywhere.

Re: Can't find proper carburetor.
Greetings:
The Spree and its SB50 successor have an issue with how tight everything fits around the rear spring/damper assembly and the svelte body work. Later NB50 Aero and Elite models mounted the bystarter inboard, simply because there's more room. The vast majority of online carb suppliers cater to these later models. Instructions for Cleaning up your current carb can be found in the Tech sections. It's not all that hard, and most anyone can learn. Otherwise see if someone here has swapped a stock Spree or SB over to a SwapShop intake and Polini carb. Those take-off carbs should fit and work well.
