Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Has anyone with an 85 Aero 80 found a belt recently that fits this fine scoot. I have searched through the different companies like Comet to try to find a close match, but I have been striking out.
I weigh too much (245lbs) and it runs and accelerates great to 35mph (indicated). I have a mixture of three oem rollers and three dr pulley 15gram rollers in there, a 90 main jet, new air filter, manual choke, and was hoping to get to 40mph indicated, but it could just be my weight that is the problem.

It's been so long since I was able to do any aero 80 research since mine went away I can't remember the belt sizes I had come up with. If you search deep enough you should be able to dig up my old posts about that. I'm thinking it was BX24 or 25 or 26. The next thing to improve that thing is to swap the spring to a yellow mallossi spring for Honda Dio. It helps with take off and keeps it from going to top speed too early as the original springs get weak and spongy and the thing will get lithargic.

If my aero 80 hadn't disappeared I would probably have tuned pipes for them by now. I was looking into a manufacturer that would have built the pipes that fit.
