NQ50 Air filter to carb connection help

Is there a specific way to attach the air filter hose back to the box? Do I need to use RTV? I'm pretty sure I have a leak from the air filter system.

Slap some goop on it. Honda puts some on there so you should too!
I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.
