SA50P won't start

My bike engine shutdown while I was riding it. Did so much and found out that air filter "dissolved" for being 20 years old. Part of it was sucked in the carb and intake. I cleaned the carb and intake. Now it starts only on full throttle and will die if throttle released. While running on full throttle, a plenty amount of gas was getting out of the carb vent hose and the exhaust smoke is blue. What should I do next? take the engine apart and clean it?

Thanks in advance

Did you just acquire this scooter? You don't need to take the engine apart. Did you remove the intake manifold from the motor? If you did, then it could be leaking air if not completely sealed at the connection to motor. If you did not remove it, then the carburetor is probably still clogged somewhere. Most likely the idle circuit. Refer to the carb cleaning section in the wikispreedia. http://hondaspree.net/wiki/index.php5?title=Main_Page
After a thorough cleaning and verifying of clear passages of carburetor, set the air/fuel screw (smaller one) to 1.5-1.75 turns out from all the way in. Adjust the larger screw to just barely raise the throttle slide a 16th inch.
Be sure you installed the little black "spacer" between the carb and intake manifold correctly. If it's upside down, it will cause a problem and if it's backwards, it could leak air and not idle well either. The o-ring goes toward manifold. Be sure air box does not leak at connection to carburetor. Use a well oiled air filter and install cover tightly. Report the results.

Thanks a lot for the info. Yes I just got this scoot 1 week ago. I did remove the manifold and got a chunk of dissolved filter out. I figured out that the gas leaking was because of the float valve not installed. I do need to order a piece of filter. Should I also order a manifold gasket as well?

Yes I assure you it's leaking at the manifold. Follow the cleaning instructions I gave you the link for above and order a filter and a spark plug from the administrator of this site. He has the best deal going for the correct parts and fast, fast shipping.... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-SA50-SA5 ... 3040!US!-1
Here's where you can order the gaskets from http://www.2wheelpros.com/oem-parts/hon ... -part.html http://www.2wheelpros.com/oem-parts/hon ... -part.html
I always clean the gasket surfaces smooth and use permatex gray motoseal on both sides of both gaskets (just a little). Stuff a small piece of clean rag down into the open area leading into the engine to prevent anything from falling into the motor before you start cleaning. Inspect the reed valves for any signs of damage, like a chipped corner or broken off piece. You can get a replacement at same time you order gaskets.

Thank you again for your help.

I cleaned the carb, installed the float valve. No more gas leaking from carb. I cleaned the intake manifold, removed the old gasket, put on ultra black heavy duty gasket maker which I previously used on my truck's diff. Since I removed the body cover it is handy to just take off the exhaust and drill the restricting washer (previously I removed the restrictor plate behind the variator), zip-tied the oil pump wide open. Reinstalled everything, now it runs great and tops the speed meter.

Only thing is I cut a piece of flex foam I got from Walmart, oiled it and put it in the box for temp use. Waiting on honda filter!

Woohoo!
