Ive been doing all i can and researching to get this thing going. 1985 iowa honda spree.. What i have done so far is clean the carb, order a new petcock, flip over the reed valve because i saw gap on one side, new battery, new spark plug.
I did a compression test and it was 87PSI so im thinking i need new rings for it to fire up. It has not started yet and has been sitting for 12 years or so.. Whats my options to make it new but stock? Thanks for your help.
1985 iowa honda spree and new member. Need help please.

Greetings:
Low compression may or may not be due to rings. Check both crsnk seals and do compression test with reeds on and well-sealed and carb removed or throttle wide open. If still low, post WTB for a stock cylinder . People take them off when installing big bore kits....
