Hi there .. my face drive came looses and ended up stripping The teeth at the end of the driveshaft.. Im having a hard time finding the correct replacement .. I purchased these 2 ..and they’re not the right part.. the one on the right supposedly is for my 1987 SE50... and it is really close.. only difference is it’s a little thicker .. the variator/boss won’t fit over it... are there 2 different sizes for se50 and maybe se50A? Can I use this one and use the variator with bigger inner diameter? Any help..or advice is welcome ! Thanks

Yea, there's a service manual that can help you identify the correct part(s) of which you would like to know about. That 2nd pic you just posted is of the "crankshaft" and yes those "splines" are stripped. That will be a job for an experienced scooter mechanic and most likely will have to replace the damaged part(crankshaft). This pdf may save you some time. http://hondaspree.net/wiki/index.php5?t ... ce_Manuals

I don’t recommend you tearing that whole motor apart to replace the crank unless you have done this kind of repair before. You called that part a driveshaft when it was in fact a crankshaft and that tells me something and the reason I recommended a scooter mechanic.
