My headlight on my 1985 spree lights up fine,
But there doesn’t seem to be a difference between the high and low beam. Maybe I just can’t see it... I Did just sold a 1986 spree and the headlight definitely looked high and low when I would toggle the switch.
Any tips would be appreciated.
I tried to search for this issue, but everyone is just asking about converting headlights to led or trying to diagnose a non working headlight.
Thanks!

Re: Headlight question high and low beam same output.
It is possible that both filaments in the headlight are being energized
when the hi-lo switch is in either position.
The problem could be in either the switch, the headlight, or the wires.
You will have to do some physical inspection and testing with an Ohm meter
to determine which component is at fault. Good luck sir.
