Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

I picked up a 1986 Honda spree with 3200 miles on it the other day for 275 bucks. I also have a 1985 with 1700 Miles on it. I bought the 86 to rob some nicer parts off it for my 85. The main part I want to Rob is the kick start. After opening up the cover to the 86, the gear inside is pretty screwed up, missing about 20 teeth.

I cannot find that gear anywhere online. The 86 is also missing a starter and Bendix which I cannot find anywhere either.

Can anyone help?

WOW!! Just when I think I've seen everything that can go wrong with a Spree, this shows up. I have a good starter gear. What else do you need?

Cool, I can't find one of them for the heck of me. I have searched for a dozen days and can't find a thing. I am also looking for a Bendix, a starter and the wiring harness for a starter. The Bendix seems to come up on eBay pretty often but the starter I can't find one that says it works with spree. The link below is the only one I have been able to find.
