Greetings:

THere was no 1988 NB50. Production of the Aero model ended with the 1987 model year. For that one year, the SE50 Elite was sold alongside the Aero.
All the variated SE05 and AF16 rear rims are compatible, as far as I know. The Early model Metropolitan rims - still available from Honda - also fit both 2-stroke versions. The NQ50 and SB50 wheels will not fit the other engines. Brake is smaller for sure.

variated af05e and af16 wheels are interchangable. both have 95mm drums. spree and sb50 elites are non variated af05e and have 80mm drum brakes. the spree and sb50 wheels will fit on nc50 express up to 1981. after that express got a 95mm drum also. express wheels wont fit spree cases without heavy modifications and a smaller tire.
