Carb and jetting questions AF 16

Post by Bummajoe »

So I’m pretty new to the scooter game.
I have a Honda elite af16.
I just put a aerosol (Airsal)70 kit on it.
I’m running a Polini variator and a tecigas (Technigas)pipe, and a 96 jet in my stock carb and airbox.
It’s too lean, but 96 jet is the biggest I can find for the stock carb.
My question is: what intake/carb/airbox combo should I be looking at ?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, like I said, I’m new to this.

Why do you think its lean?
I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.

Greetings:

Flash 9 is a Polini Contesta - similar performance to the Airsal, I imagine, with a stock pipe and airbox. 90 runs great. 92 and it falls on its face with anything above half throttle. You might be a tad Rich.

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.
