Which motor years are interchangeable on the Elite CH80?

title. trying to swap out the motor on a late 90s Elite and want to make sure what can be swapped in.

Never swapped any engines in Elite 80, but I have owned several in various years.
The engine was the same all the way through the run from '85 to '07, pretty sure you can swap at will without worry.
motorscooterguide.net mentions some model changes, but says nothing about the engine.

The only difference is in 85 there was no oil dipstick you fill through a hole with a bolt otherwise all the engines are interchangeable. I even replaced the 85 case half without dipstick with one with dipstick
