1987 spree

I had mine parked for a year due to a tire blow out. fixed tire and the carb was gummed up.
ordered one off amazon bolted up and put fresh gas in cleaned plug off. its getting spark and fuel but pops when kick started a little bit but wont fire.
any help greatly would help.

Your troubles will all disappear if you clean the OEM and toss the Chinese junk.

oem slide is to froze up and pited to use

Best put a new spark plug in it.
Too bad about the neglected carburetor getting
ruined. Check the muffler to see if oil has drained down and filled it.
Might want to change the fuel lines to new if they are the OEM's.
