Hi
1986 spree nq50
1500 miles
At low speed say 5 mph or under makes clunking noise?
Seem to go away mostly at 15 20 mph?
Also the cover where the belt is behind the kickstarter is too hot to touch
No way you can keep hand on it after riding a couple miles
Is this normal?
Is the clunk coming from Transmission???
Clutch??
Seems to drive and speeds up like normal
I have never serviced anything belt wise as I but it used
It's in mint shape
Help?

You posted only yesterday with your problem. Give people some time to respond. Everyone here is just Regular Joe’s with jobs, families and busy lives. Maybe everyone is busy working on their own scooter or out riding it. Your rotten scooter that sat outside forever has no spark?…shocking.budget gokart wrote: ↑Tue Aug 17, 2021 8:26 ami need help but i havent had any replies i think this forum is dead im gonna look elsewere
I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.

Clunking noise: check for a broken clutch spring or a slipping belt. Heat is caused by friction so something is rubbing wrong. Check for excessive wear markings everywhere under the belt cover.
