I’d be curious if a ball valve with pod air filter could be fabricated to replace the stock airbox.

Wondering whether these cheapo bystarters are safe to put on a Nifty50/Spree 1986. The manual says 10 ohms max but these generic Nq50cc bystarters are about 15 ohms. I notice the inside of the bystarter cavity where the needle sits and blocks the bystarter jet when hot is showing a bit of wear. Probably not the perfect seat. Does it matter? Do the ohms matter?
