Can’t get Honda spree to run

I am trying to get my 1985 Honda Spree Running. I put a brand new carb, spark plug, basically everything. The compression is at 135 psi. But I can’t get it running. I even put a gas/oil mixture into the cylinder and it still didn’t start up.

Have you tested for spark ?

Brand new carb is a red flag. Most of those cheap replacement carbs are junk and the Spree doesnt run with them. Tuning is a nightmare and theyre riddled with leaks out of the box due to low budget manufacturing casting flaws. Rebuilding the OEM carb is recommended.
