Honda spree not starting

Post by mikegeorge123 »

I have a 1985 Honda spree that will not start even when I put ether in the cylinder it. I tested spark and it was working good. But, when I put ether into the cylinder, I start seeing it leaking out from under the cylinder somewhere. Any tips on how to fix it?

2-stroke is basically like a pump. The up and down stroke of the piston creates a suck/blow action for fuel/air, then exhaust gasses. This requires a completely sealed system for the motor to operate. If theres any leaks (air or fuel) it simply wont run….find where the leaks are and seal them up completely. Every connecting part has a gasket, an o-ring, or something to make it air tight. Make it so.
I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.
