See-through float bowls?

Post by zz28zz »

Found these things while looking for a float. Seems like it would be great for troubleshooting but not sure I'd want to run one all the time.

You can get complete carbs with the transparent float bowls and jet kitfor around 20 usd on taobao or ali. I’m going to order one when I order my BBK.

If you buy a new carb for $20, it probably only costs $10 to make it. How good do you think it will be?

There are a few things where its ok to cheap out on. A carburetor is not one of them.
I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.

I tend to agree for parts that have rotating mass, like crank shafts, bearings, pistons, etc, but a carburetor is an incredibly simple device. The one is question is a Keihin PWM knockoff so they never had to pay for R&D, just get the blueprints China style and begin production. Can always revert to the stock carb if it ends up being a POS, and I’m only out 20 bucks.
