Many problems like "will idle but boggs down when throttled" can be caused by running the wrong oil....in a honda elite I recommend running honda GN2 Injector oil....or any HIGH GRADE oil that is CLEAR or Nearly clear!
Regular 2 cycle oil, cheap stuff IS NOT clean burning..and WILL CLOG the exhaust...resulting in a scooter that wont run, will idle but wont take throttle, has low speed, is slowing ect. ect. ect. ect.....If your having these problems CLEAN out the MUFFLER....while you have it off remove the restrictor washer if there is one....and remember run clear clean burning Honda oil!!!
