oil lines

Post by superpro_d »

I posted an ad about changeing oil lines, I havet ben on here in awhile.
Someone sed that i should not use clear line for my oil lines, but use semi transparent poylemer lines. Can i get this at a Honda dealer??
I plan on replacing all my lines oil and gas.I just want to know what to ask for at the dealer.[/b]

What you are looking for is called tygon tubing, if you cant find it locally upsmale sells it.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

I like to use clear lines for my oil lines so I can watch the oil being fed to my engine, especially the line from the pump to the manifold. I got my lines from Ace, but any decent hardware store would have them. I think I priced the OEM Honda lines for the Spree once, and they were a pretty penny.
