oil dripping of carb

i have a problem on a 2000 Elite with the oil dripping out of the carb. overflow. any ideas what may be the problem here... hope its not the pump.

Please give more details. Are you sure its oil or is it gas? What is condition of the oil line? Where is the drip forming?

the oil is as i stated, is comming out of the overflow line. the one that comes straight down from the carb. not the one we drain the carb out.. no gas just oil oil lines are real good. this scooter has 1700 miles on it now.
