Ive cleaned the carb several times. I got it to idle. then when i give it throtle it dies. also, when i got it the gas tank was rusty...i used CLR to clean it out....and also put in a universal fuel filter with glass after the petcock to see what was coming out of the tank. Any ideas??

i went through the same thing clened the carb 4 time not till i took the main jet out and remover the the small tube that the the neddel sits in and clened that did it start running rite it just pushes out really easey it has very small holes in it that were pluged up so remove the main jet then were the slid sits in the carb you will see a brass piece looking down from the top of the carb i was abel to use my finger to push it out good luch and make sure you have a air filter on it also

Prostreet,

Can you reword the solution you proposed so it is grammatically correct. I have the same symptoms but it is close to difficult to follow what you are saying.

Thanks

He's saying your idle jet's plugged. You can try removing it, but most will just clean it in place. If you can see light through it it's clean.

I think that there's something going on with your clean air duct/air filter.
