which way does it go?
I was just wondering when i got my new rings it cane with three things two rings and a little metal round thing . Which spot does it go in the top or bottom , and also how long does it take to get somthing from servicehonda.com

Chrome outer lined ring goes on the top
Spring thin ring goes on the inside bottom, then the next ring
Both rings lettering faces toward the top of the piston, You will see an index mark on one side of the piston, that is where the gaps line up.
Soak jug and piston with oil then ease the jug over pinching the rings with your fingers one at a time. The jug is tappered at the bottom to help keep the rings in the grove and help them into the cylinder. Lightly tap jug with deadblow hammer to ease the piston in.
Note the top ring is keyed it can only go in one way if you have it upside down, then when you pinch it into the grove it will stick, just reverse and install the other way. The taper faces upward. The bottom ring is not keyed.
