heard a odd noise then motor cut out and it slowed fast

the noise came around mid RPMs heard it all morning but it was hard to notice. the motor lost all power and cut out immeadiatly and had lots of drag (slowed down to 3mph very fast). it started again and ran fine the next morning. does this sound like a clutch problem? could the motor be running lean and almost of seized? post if you have a clue thanks all

do not run it like that till you fix it. it could have small seized, what kind of oil you runing

after a talk with keioni(?) i think your right. i changed my needle setting the day before for some better mpg's. I realized that my oil pump is always wide open and it must of been running lean on the gas. the oil setting saved my ped!

extra oil wont save you from running lean.. you've still got more oil than fuel compared to amount of air. If its stock leave it at stock settings imo

i meant that the oil setting saved it from completly seizing -John
