Yes sir.

Hopefully I win that stupid pipe on ebay.
If I don't, where can I get a muffler that doesn't restrict my exhaust, doesn't have rust holes and won't kill my wallet?
I'm putting my ramp plate in. Should I regrease everything or run it dry? I have a couple different grades of hitemp disc brake wheel bearing grease and that's it.
I wiped everything with a greasy rag so there's a very very thin layer.
I took it out for a spin and BAAHHhhhggg....dead. Tomorrow that se50 airbox comes in I'll poast my findings with that.
Got the airbox in, variator ramp plate is in and about 1 second after WOT just bleh and dies.
I'm cleaning out the carb tomorrow and should probably put the filter element in the air box. I'll also need to rejet the carb from restricted to derestricted yes?
Spree now does 35mph =D
Pulls a TON harder up until about 20 then works it's way to 35 on the flats. 32 up a normal hill that would take the spree's little self down to 25.
Also I'm running on heavily treated seafoam fuel to further remove deposits in the carb after "rebuild" so it will probably pick up a tiny bit afterwards.
This is without an air filter by the way. I should probably get some sort of filter in there...hmm. Anyway it is doing a lot better I thank you all for your help and I might need some more help finding parts.
I'd like to drill out the jet instead of buy a ton of them. Where can I get bits small enough? Also who's got a pipe for me?! I pay tuition next week so give a college student a break will ya!
But this thing is SUPER hard to start cold. I'm talking 50* outside cold it will start with the electric starter and bog to death within seconds. Then the electric start will not do much good. A swift kick will get a nice rumble going but without wide open throttle it bogs and dies.
If I keep the throttle up and just go go go it is fine and will hold an idle after it is warmed up. What gives!?
I just cleaned out the fuel tank, cleaned the screen and cleaned/tested petcock function. The carb base mix is 1.5 turns out as per manufacturer spec.
The base setting is just that a base setting. You must adjust the mixture screw for the highest RPM possible then adjust the throttle stop screw (idle speed if you prefer) for 1800 = or - 100. I prefer setting idle speed so that the rear wheel will just not turn while the scooter is idling on the center stand, brake off (engine warm of course). WOT should never be required to start these things. Cold, should be NO throttle (because of how the bystarter works) and a warm motor may require just a tiny bit of throttle, but WOT tells you something is real wrong.

Douched out the carb, adjusted things it starts on the starter quick again and runs a lot better. Do these 2 cycles always have a slight random miss at idle? This thing doesn't seem to be using much oil compared to the spree motor and there is no noticable blue smoke at all, I can't see any through my helmet

Yes, pretty much.

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.
