Why go 66cc when you can go 72cc or 78cc for the same price if not a few more dollars and get more torque which is what you need if you live where there are hills the 72 and 78cc cylinders can still be run with the stock carb and exhaust and still get real good performance that sips gas and way less noise.

I didn't think i could still use the stock carb w/ a bigger bbk. that's why i went w/ the 66cc. live and learn i guess.

You only need to mod the carb if your NOT using an airbox. You can still use a stock carb unmodded and airbox with the 2nd tab punched out with a bbk with stock exhaust. If your using an aftermarket exhaust, you need to run a larger carb to match the exhaust or you risk seizing.

If you already have the 66cc kit then use that. Just make sure that the boost port on the bore is the same size on your engine case, if not you will have to match it on the engine side if its larger on the bore.

Try email to Steve here: http://www.vtcycles.com/ I bought 9:1's and 10:1's for $50 each +a few $ shipping. He is fast once order is received. Another source is tazland001 I think he's only got 8.44:1 right now. Daywot has most ratios also. I have bought from all of these w/good service and price.

x2 on those sellers. The website is not always up to date for VT though so ask about whatever parts you want even if they are not listed.
