stage 3 spree. need a pipe!!!

Post by SuprasNsprees »

hard to believe there are engine/carb/gear sets available but not an exhaust pipe.

started riding with some hardcore 2t dudes, and figured something out real quick. no one has the stock pipe on their bike and it feels like a huge step was skipped

so, i'm very handy with a welder and metal fab, but i really don't have the 2t know-how to make one from scratch. so i started thinking about using the stock spree pipe from the flange down 8-9",and weld another pipe from an Elite or something to it

any thoughts?

you can only but try

having no cvt you will be able to hear and feel when your pipe kicks in and work from there.Be prepared for more cutting and welding than you expect

I posted looking first-hand experience. It's hard to talk down your nose at somebody when you can't repair a damaged tab on a pipe

I really like the look of the V8 pipe. Think I might try that

I would start higher on the spree header than 9", that will still limit your top end.
