I run B8hs,also I have 12 stock bpr6hsa or whatever they are, I had to special order them since no one stocked them and then did a BBK so theyre useless now.
I lent it to my friend to do some night riding last night and he put 68 miles on it down town st louis. Said its great for around town.

No top speed runs yet, at around 3/4 throttle held for a long time itll hit the H in mph. My friend ran it around down town last night for 68 miles, and I put around 5 just around my moms. Were running 32:1 for the break in. after pulling the plug out this morning after my friends ride, plug looks great, chocolate bar color.
Im still waiting on the leovince sp3, CT intake and oko carb to complete it. i changed the rollers from 5.6 gram each to 7.2 to 9 gram and back didnt really notice any difference. My friend said it felt like the clutch may need adjusting or replaced.
Which clutch springs do you think I should get swim?

need some more input on the rollers how the tack off on the toy like from 0 to 15 mph ??? the 5.6 gram shood be faster then 9 gram ... top speed shood be the same roller are for bottom end speed and tack off not top speed..
the lighter the rollers the better the tack off and the faster you will get to top speed...

I kept 6.9g polini rollers in it, Seems to be awesome once the clutch grips, So far 172 easy miles on the kit.
I ordered a keli "race" clutch, and today ill order the 2k springs. Im using the malossi yellow center spring for the rear.
I cant wait for the break in to be finished, but seems rain here today and tomorrow.
I wish I could just do it like a W.anke.l rotary, haha w*nkle is a no no word, and let it idle bake itself. I guess I could if I had my oko with a pilot and a box fan.
Im taking my trans cover back off to see how the gears look after the 170 miles on the new malossi gears. I use Royal purple 10-40 in it so hopefully it looks beautifully purple still.

I own and race a 76 mazda Rx3 with an extremely ported and modified 12a with bridge work, efi, and twin triple k k04 turbos. This is one of my Auto cross cars, along with my 72 datsun 240z with efi, fogger, a bored stroked turbo inline 6.
A rotary is much like a 2 stroke, it requires oil injection as well, and during break in you have to be sure to supply plenty of fuel and oil or you will rub a soft spot into the rotor before its hardened, amongst other issues with eccentric shaft seals etc.

Even though you got it running, it sound like there's still some loose ends. 2-stroke tuning is totally dependent on the intake and exhaust. The airbox should be tight since it can cause a super-lean condition with bad consequences. The exhaust pipe should be matched to the cylinder exhaust port. Putting a 22mm pipe on a 28mm exhaust port will strangle your engine. You can bolt any exhaust onto your engine since they all have the same flange, but there's a big difference in fit (and performance).
