new spree exhaust
What is good exhaust i could get for 50cc spree. The original keeps * out carbon
Re: new spree exhaust
Your stock muffler can be decarbonized. Wikispreedia will guide you through the choice of methods. Buying a used muffler is likely to end up with you having two mufflers full of carbon. I do not know of any aftermarket pipe for the Spree...If there are any, we would all like to hear about it. ........

Re: new spree exhaust
Greetings:
It could be a big chunk o' carbon, but also possible that a baffle weld has rusted/broken through and allowed the baffle to rattle around. I suspect that's uncommon but not rare with stock Honda pipes. Might depend on climate, salt, rain, and run-time. Aftermarket pipes do it all the time, but I've seen some pretty rusty-on-the-outside Honda pipes that had no rattles inside. Unless you have industrial X-ray, the only way to be sure is to split the seam, inspect, and re-weld.

Re: new spree exhaust
All that is is a stock replacement muffler. No performance increase, mainly because there is no performance pipe for the Spree.

Re: new spree exhaust
I cut open my stock muffler and modifyed the inside with some extra holes and it made it a little louder but runs great with the mod!

And that is all it will ever do. A performance gain is not going to happen. In fact a lose is the most likely out come.Bossshelby wrote:I cut open my stock muffler and modifyed the inside with some extra holes and it made it a little louder but runs great with the mod!

Re: new spree exhaust
Cut it open because it was pluged up.The holes on the inside were blocked with the insulation that was inside it.
