94 elite s 50cc..performance mods?

I have a decent 94 ELITE s 50 cc got it in pieces..have to replace rings..any advice on clutching..anything to make it go faster would be great...THANKYOU!!!..is this a dio motor..?

Greetings:

Yes the AF16 we all hope emblazons your gear case bowed in 1994. Called the SA50 by some here to distinguish the "Dio" generation from its less ambitious AF05 (or SE05) predecessor. De-restricting the variator, and perhaps the exhaust and an upjet to the carb are necessary to achieve "SR" performance levels from your "S" model. Consider also that the higher-revving product needs a smidge more oil than the non-cable-operated pump typically supplies.

Excellent..thank you..I'll look on the tube how to do the variator..never done one before....I burned out the exhaust.and got new rings..that should help a bit...well I'm Headn out to get started..keep u posted..thanks again

Hello again..just watched a few videos on YouTube..I'd like to know where to order performance parts for scooters..like clutch weights..ramps..race pipes..carbs..etc..and where do I get the tools..like float adjuster..etc..I've been tinkering with mopeds..mainly Honda..for 12 years..just getting into making them go faster..thanks for all the help!!

Would porting out the stock intake manifold help performance any with a BBK installed? I just did a checkup on my reeds and noticed the manifold looks on the smallish side. I suppose if any porting helped there the SR would already have it done OEM.

yes. polini bore and 24mm cp carb.polini. runs a stock exhaust and 8.4 gear
