Greetings:
I believe it was the Right Venerable Bakaracer-san who dissected a PG Long back in 2009 or so. The pipe is very lightweight, has no centerstand bumper, and intended for buttery-smooth racetrack pavement. It just isn't built to handle the Mean Streets and real-world issues of potholes, curb cuts and speed bumps. Mine lasted about a year before it began rattling itself apart. A weld at the end lasted just a few more months.
