Greetings:

Carb is too big for 72, and gears are too short. 9:1 works for a stock bore or a mildly tuned Iron 72. The Corsa can pull a lot taller.

If you insist on the 28, look for 45 +/-5 Pilot and 135-150 Main.

Greetings:

If your PG long revs much higher than 10.5K, I'd be surprised. At that flow rate, the 28 is simply too big, although do-able, affordable, and well-understood. 26 is plenty, and 24 Polini might be even better.

Meanwhile the Corsa seems to shine with 8.44s for really good acceleration and still keep 70MPH potential. I've run them with 7.57s and 7.97s as well, never hurt for mid-range, but the take-off 0-10 gets noticeably slower.

I've yet to see 10.5k Rpms outta my long and it's gone 68mph a few times and I think it can go more. But my range is in 9k range most of the time. That's on a 24 polini.

9 to 1 gears are for a derestricted stock bore, try 7 to 1 gears for a bore kit/ stock crank :bowrofl:
