That I couldn't tell you. If there are more smaller teeth, I would think there would be more grip and surface area. Maybe you could compare it to a standard thread pitch and fine thread pitch on the same size bolt. The finer pitch has more threads=more surface area=more clamping strength=stronger grip/higher torque.
