it all depends on brand.
a cheap CMR bore is not going to last that long.
But a name brand polini bore will last as long as the stock one.

Carb and pipe is all an upside. Tell us how much money you want to spend and we will help you find the build right for you.

i do not understand what you are asking.
are you asking about like jetting? where you have to change the jet a few times to get the right mixture?

in that chase yes, but onces its right, you dont have to change it.

Here is the real kicker, How much money do you have to spend?

you will have to swap the jet a few times and see what works best (by doing plug chops). You also have to swap the rollers a few times to see what works best.

How much money do you have to spend?

let me know and i will be able to help you with your set up allot better.

i would say....

CMR 72cc bore kit
8.44:1 gears.

http://www.VTCycles.com
(sites outdated. Just call them up)

it might be like $165-170 shipped.
CMR is kinda a cheap bore kit. But if you are looking to do a bore kit it fits your price range.
and gears are the most inporant thing yet.

Whats with the 8:44:1 gears, i know vt cycles doesn"t sell 7:3:1 gears which lets the engine wind out longer!

The shops over here sell what they use which is for town traffic but some mainland people may live in a rural area and want to open up their scoots it also revs lower which makes bore kits last longer.
