Finding jets for SA50

Post by gobucks »

Is there any web store where you can buy various aftermarket jet sizes for a 95 elite sa50? I called the dealer and they told me that honda didn't make any 50cc scooters in 1995, so i can't get it through them.

Pics of this 95 sa50?
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Ask your dealer for these part numbers:
99112-GHB-0680
or
99101-187-0680

They are limited to just 2 sizes I believe, so you may have to drill one out to get the size you need.

It does not seem like you can get this kind of jet directly from Keihin which limits availability and jet sizes.

And to add to that, you could try searching www.boats.net or Google for the parts number. The last 4 digits represent the jet size

i.e. 0680 is a #68
0700 would be a #70 ....... etc.

Idk... Now that I sold my stock carb I should have tested it out, I bet I would have had more torque than this huge 28mm that I've got that's pushing in way too much air than fuel.
