PARTS came in! (R1 pipe, pulley)
WOO!
Despite the extremely frustrating fact that someone stabbed my seat with a key/knife today,
I'm really excited about the new parts!
everything (but R1):
(Plugs are NGK 5510 B8HS)
pulley:
R1:
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
And now, the questions:
1. The girl I got it from said she had the spark plug changed about a year ago... that's what the plug looks like currently. Should I change it anyways?
2. As far as the pipe is concerned, it's basically bolt on, correct?
3. For the pulley installation, this is the only how-to thread I found by noiseguy all the text and no pictures will be tough for me. Any other resources available?
I post all this keeping in mind that I'm a really needy forum member right now. I know little to nothing, and need a lot of help with little to give back at this point, but I promise I'm learning and trying not to be a n00b as much as I can.

1- i talked to you about aim on this topic. If you got any more questions about it, ask me anytime.
2- The elite Sr has a #78 jet stock. (fairly big) And since your not changing your filter at all you should be just fine putting that exhaust on. Just plug chop a few times to make sure.
3- that pulley guide is for people modding the spree. The honda Spree dont have pulley kits like the elites, so when people mod there pulley, they really have to mod they're pulleys.

Everyone is a noob at one point in time. When i first came to the site i didnt know anything about my motor. I was completely clueless about motors. i have no clue how any of it worked.

the installation was actually pretty easy. I went to a local scooter store to borrow a impact drill and they were really helpful in answering the questions I had.
With just the R1, I got a pretty significant feeling boost in top speed, but lost a LOT of acceleration. I had no way of checking, but I'd guess I was going around 40ish
Then I put on the high performance pulley from VTCycles. Bumped my acceleration just about to where it was before the mods. Overall the scooter feels FAST. Had a friend drive alongside me once everything was on it, and he said I was doing 42. Not great, but not bad.
I did a plug chop when I got back and I'm running really lean (almost white). Where should I buy jets?
pics coming soon...
