Breaking in method...Letting it run idle?

I know how both engines work and i know every little thing that makes them different. I mean they both work the same in the sense that you still have a piston going up and down in a tube. The second link shows what i mean how it works and that it should work in both 2 and 4 stroke engines. I broke in a rebuilt 2 stroke leafblower using this method and it turned out great
