The blue racing cdi has lots of trouble. poor spark, motor quit running and hard starting.
Just go with honda factory cdi for Honda scooter spree, elite , Af16 DIo.
Yamaha jog cdi, does work on most jog type motor.
Just carry a spare factory cdi with your riding.
Stay away from blue cdi unit.

Did you seal yours up with epoxy or anything? Mine hasn't given me any problems yet, and it looks so shiny and cool.
I carry a stock spare anyway because I don't trust it.

The factory CDI is still best but sometimes it goes bad and you need a cheap replacement. The blue CDI works but I see so many bad installs.
You need to install it where it won't get wet. ALOT of the Honda guys install it where the rain and splash will get to it. Even though the unit is sealed with epoxy, over time and with 2 stroke vibration this can cause problems. Moisture from humidity or climate changes can also affect the CDI.
