3 fire extinguishers= custom spree exhaust

Post by Spreetard »

after seeing a picture of the inner workings of the stock spree exhaust in another post, we decided to try to build a slightly upscaled version of it out of things laying around the shop. 3 fire extinguishers and some tubing later, a similar three chamber exhaust now awaits welding and mounting brackets. pictures coming soon, after everything is aligned and bead blasted. i'll even put up pics of the individual chambers before welding.

mind you, this is a rainy day experment. i'll post up more results, but the measurements are honestly not that scientific. hopefully it works at least as well as stock
*side note; i should set the date on the camera  *

Cool! While you have it open add a exhaust flame kit. That would be a first on here for sure!

we're junkyard scientists around here  it seems to rev a little higher and it sounds great!!! the gps is nowhere to be found, but once it shows up we'll see if it just is the seat-o-the pants-o-meter, or if the gain is real.

Just in case you haven't seen it already, there's more than one use for your old fire extinguisher:
