I was thinkin about drilling out my tailpipe but i saw that it relieves axhuast pressure and i know that is crucial for it to run..... but uhh what exactly is backpressure and why does an engine need it?

i think back pressure helps with the compression which makes the pistion go up and down if u dont have enough then it wont make the most HP.
That is my guess

no im pretty sure people say engines NEED it ( 2 strokes) to run .

2-strokes are greatly aided by properly designed pipes that acoustically "echo" at the right frequencies. This effectively plugs the exhaust port while the piston is coming back up. All this is more technical/engineering knowledge than most ppl care to pick up, but here's more:

Bottom line: Just drill the 4 holes, you'll be fine. Do a search in this section and you'll find an expansion chamber that I built which worked pretty well also.
