This is a GROUP BUY, and I need at least 10 interested members to make it happen. The more people interested, the better price I can offer. Once 10 or more are interested I would need half the deposit (or whole) to know that you are committed to the group buy and won't back out.
(To these that need a small primer on group buys, this wiki might help)

CT Carbonization

Post by Wheelman-111 »

Greetings:

Oh, crap! Might need to fool with jetting again... :)
I believe these would be an upgrade to the regular CT mani, as in my experience carbonization really cleans up the low-end and midrange.

So I'm interested but of course it depends on the price. Can you give us a range; 2 buyers vs 20 buyers?

I won't release final prices until I know there is enough interest, but my goal selling price is around $25-30 for reedblocks and reeds alone

wheelman if you are commited to the group buy, reply in this thread and I will add you to the list, thanks

Greetings:

At $25, I'd take one for sure, maybe 2. Flash III needs carbon, too. :P

im interested. few questions though

Whats the difference in performance between the 4pedal and the 6? Do we just get the reeds or do they come with the block also? How is the block different from what comes with the ct manifold? thanks

The 6 petal compared to 4 petal reeds will improve the bottom end and mid range throttle response and performance. The old multiple carb adage applies here, "a lot of little holes is better than a couple of big holes." The top end will not be hurt and depending on the area of the reed openings can be improved.

losthope,
bear got the technical part covered (thanks bear), and basically 6petal > 4petal as far as normal street performance.

you would get the reeds, plus block, everything ready to drop into CT mani

So that being said what would be the point of the 4 pedal?
