SE50 mount for a dio swap

Post by Trafficjamz »

This is a step by step on how to cut down an se50 mount to fit an af16E or variated AF05E on a spree.

This is an uncut SE50 mount

Here is the uncut se50 mount next to a stock spree mount.

A tiny bit needs to be cut off the right side of the mount. Just enough that the middle and the outside are flush wth one another.

Next about 11mm needs to be taken off the left side of the mount. (Measure the original spree mount for an exact amout to be taken off)

Now cut off these two bits from the spree.

And the new SE50 mount should fit perfectly

If you are mounting a af05e engine you are done. If you are going with an AF16E then....

Drill out the back half of the mount to 10mm

Any questions?

I use the metal sleeves on your kicker case to avoid drilling out the back half to 10mm

We could never let them control
