What year is your aero?
dio based ,sorry should clear this up,pre dio is actually correct since it came out early then the af18e -dio block, but it does have a tunable trans etc, not sure about the 84 though,just 85-87 ,then even had 100 and 80 2 stroke aero's 83-84 I think.

Yup, we just say dio based cuz it's easier,get the sef ramp,a high speed pulley, and a new belt,check the front drive face opposite the front pulley -if it's rusted where the belt rides change that too.
