Beginning Break In Process

Post by Petrock's 1984 Spree »

What should I start with for jets?

Corsa
21mm OKO
CT mani
K&N metal mesh air filter
V8 Typhoon Exhaust

I wanna jet way rich the first time I start it up and start dong some heat cycles so how does 45, 145 sound?

Greetings:

45 is pretty good.
145 Main probably won't run at all. I'm using a ??125 in a much bigger 26mm carb. Higher-flowing PG long, too - with no WOT heat issues. YMMV.

Alright so drop it down to 130 or 135?
Or is that still too big for the main in the 21mm? The smallest main I got is a 120

Greetings:

No, I'm thinking 125 should be WAY rich already. Bakaracer says he runs a 118 - after break-in. It's gotta run in order to break in...

Okay well I got a 120 and a 125

So 125 for the first couple of times I fire it up?
Then drop it to the 120 for some real easy riding?

Greetings:

I'm pretty sure you'll be OK. If it won't take throttle with the 125, you heard it here first. Put in the 120. If it blows up... uhh, I didn't say anything. Remember I'm running a 26mm carb, and Baka was using a 24(?) or a 21 on his race build.

Alright well then I highly doubt it will be lean. I guess this means I need the smaller main jet kit from treatland if it won't take throttle with the 120.

The 21mm came with a 103 but I'm guessing that's way small for this set up

Where can I get main jets between 100-120?

But with smaller intervals than 5.

I'd love to get like 102,104,106 etc

Or 103,106,109,112 etc.

Any place sell those jets for oko? I'm having trouble locating them online
