I have heard from some people that say that when u get a bore kit u should only run one ring.. idk i think that it might loose compression let me know b/c i just bought a 65cc kit for the elite again..

running 1 ring is for rpm's- less drag but running 2 rings is for better low end/mid range- more torque but your piston and clearences need to set for a 1 ring set up ,just running 1 ring instead of 2 is just a waste- you will see increased piston slap unless you cut the skirt shorter

I'll take an 87 elite over an S anyday,the only down side to an 87 is the smaller tank,the plus's are lighter weight, way easier to do a disc conversion,easier to convert to any of the japan headset's, the S does come with a US dio,but big deal.- shows how much he knows :roll:

You can bolt a dio into the 87 ,so there's nothing special about the S oh,it does have a big storage compartment under the seat !

so does the S,the rides is plusher on the S but even you going mod and want a RACEIER bike get an 87 and convert!
