CVT Venting

noticed my peds cvt cover is getting pretty hot after a rough ride do any of you guys vent your cvt and have any tips?

On the dio with the split trans cover,you can take that back half off to help keep the rear clutch cooler. As for the front you can cut or drill holes to let air pass through.or cut a design out on the covers.

trying to find that thread where the other guy did his and put screen in the vents to keep crud out...cant find it.

edit: never mind. found it. i used the search function and typed "keep crud out"...

thats accually keeping it in. the belt dust and clutch dust is what cloggs up in the variator boss and on the rollers. having it open lets those things out.

the half kicker also helps when you bust a belt. i had a full cover and it was pretty f'd up. the belt was all in the pulleys and melted. half kicker it jsut shoots out haha.
